A look at Protista.....Fungi.....Plantae.....Animalia

The family of hawks, eagles, falcons, harriers, and old-world vultures

Energy can exist in a variety of forms, such as electrical, mechanical, chemical, thermal, or nuclear. Energy is released anytime atoms increase in speed or bonds are broken. Meets HS-ESS 3-1

Cattle, horses, sheep, goats, hogs, poultry, and other domesticated animals are important to people for many reasons. They supply us with food and clothing, we use them for recreational purposes, they work with and for us.
Tracking in hunting and ecology is the science and art of observing animal tracks and other signs, with the goal of gaining an understanding of the landscape and the animal being tracked (quarry).
A large phylum that comprises the segmented worms, which include earthworms, lugworms, and leeches.

Arduino is an open-source electronics platform or board and software used to program that is designed to make electronics more accessible to everyone

In order to design and analyze a circuit, we need a working understanding of Ohm’s Law.

The analogWrite command only approximates analog voltages and does not produce an actual analog signal. It works by quickly turning the voltage to the pin on and off or pulse width modulation.

Arduino refers to an open-source electronics platform or board and the software used to program it. Arduino is designed to make electronics more accessible to artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Hexapoda (insects) Myriapods (centipedes and millipedes); Chelicerata (spiders, mites, and scorpions); Crustaceans (slaters, prawn, and crabs).

In learning about astronomy, Scouts study how activities in space affect our own planet and bear witness to the wonders of the night sky: the nebulae, or giant clouds of gas and dust where new stars are born; old stars dying and exploding; meteor showers and shooting stars; the moon, planets, and a dazzling array of stars.
Every solid, liquid, gas, and plasma is composed of atoms. An atom is the smallest unit or ordinary matter that has the properties of the element.
Earning the Backpacking merit badge will be demanding but rewarding. Scouts will learn what equipment to carry on their backs and what knowledge to have in their heads. In addition, Scouts will discover how to protect the environment by traveling and camping without leaving a trace. By mastering the basics of backpacking, Scouts will develop an even deeper respect for the outdoors.
The chemistry of living organisms

Tundra ecosystems are treeless regions found in the Arctic and on the tops of mountains.

A deciduous forest is a biome dominated by deciduous trees which lose their leaves seasonally.

Deserts currently cover 1/5 of the worlds land mass and the desert biome is continuing to increase in size

Grasslands biomes are regions where the average temperature and precipitation is enough to support grasses but too limited to support trees

The taiga biome is the largest terrestrial biome and extends across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Birds are among the most fascinating creatures on Earth. Many are beautifully colored. Others are accomplished singers. Many of the most important discoveries about birds and how they live have been made by amateur birders. In pursuing this hobby, a Scout might someday make a valuable contribution to our understanding of the natural world.
